Vision: All Students who enroll in a PSJA ISD Dual Language Program will graduate from High School bilingual, biliterate, bicultural and prepared to continue their education in an institution of higher education.
Mission: Our mission is to provide all students in a Dual Language Program with the opportunity to meet and exceed state and national standards in all content areas in a bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural environment.
Goals:
- Provide the educational environment and instruction that will allow all students to become bilingual, biliterate and bicultural with high academic achievement in all content areas.
- Successfully implement a Dual Language Curriculum Model Pre-K-12th grade so that students continue their biliteracy development.
- Gain a genuine commitment to the program's implementation and success by school administration, staff, parents, community and district administration.
Dual Language Schools:
The Dual Language Program at PSJA ISD serves six elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools. The schools are Garcia Elementary, Pharr Elementary, Palmer Elementary, Ramirez Elementary, South Pharr Elementary, and Reed & Mock Elementary. The middle schools are Liberty Middle School and Austin Middle School. The high schools are PSJA High School and PSJA North High School.
